We left Portland on the 15th of December, stopped in Central Point, OR. to visit friends, then on to southern Ca. There we spent Christmas & New Years with Lisa & family. After leaving Lisa’s we went to Az. and met up with our high school friends from Montana and several of their friends from across the country. We also had our friends Ray & Susan from Portland join us their RV in Quartzsite, Az. We did some ATV riding and also took in the largest Saturday market on the face of the earth! Of course, we all did some shopping!

A stop for snack and drink
Leaving Quartzsite we went to Gila Bend, Az with Ray & Susan. We were able to watch our Air Force do some practice bombing & strafing.
Top picture the smoke behind A10 is when 50 mm was fired. Second picture is target, this pilot put 25 out of 31 in the target. Bottom picture fly by. Then down to Oregon Pipe Cactus National Monument.
The other morning while enjoying the sunrise Gail let me read this to you.
